In the span of sitting and waiting for my coffee witnessed the barista forget two people’s orders charge someone for a mistake she made (very patient man) and then give us a latte that had about a quarter of a shot of espresso. The service took extremely long (probably due to forgetting two peoples orders) and the coffee was pretty crappy. Atmosphere was excellent, awesome location.

Recently tried Kefita Coffee and I can confidently say it brings a unique experience and vibe to Houston. We visited on the way back from a weekend away and were met with a space filled with the smell of fresh coffee and teeming with life. The space is beautiful decorated with vibrant colors and I loved the addition of various seating types and board games to pass the time. It’s the kind of space where you want to stay just a little bit longer, even after the coffee is gone. Speaking of coffee and other drinks, their Abyssinian latte is to AMAZING. Flavorful but not overbearing. We also happened to visit during the owner’s birthday weekend during which they had a special drink named after her, which I thought was precious.

Delicious coffee and friendly staff. A beautiful coffee shop with lots of seating. They have delicious desserts and great coffee. The white flat is so great, their coffee is so smooth and doesn’t have that punchy coffee after taste. I will be coming here more often.

I love coffee shops and I can spot a good one when I see one :) Kefita is one of the unique cafes that you have to try when you’re in town. The coffee, the vibe and the story behind it is simply amazing. We enjoyed a variety of pastries, the latte with Ethiopians spices, and a good old cortado. Loved the interior design and the coffee books. Highly recommend it!

If you’re looking for a cozy Ethiopian coffee spot in Houston, this IS it. ☕✨ From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm, inviting, and super adorable. The aesthetic is thoughtful without trying too hard. It feels curated, calm, and creative all at once. Now let’s talk about the cortado flight — because yes. A whole experience. My personal favorite? I couldn’t decide as every sip felt intentional. You can taste the quality and care behind the beans. Everything was just… perfect. The energy. The presentation. The coffee. It’s one of those places that makes you want to slow down, stay awhile, and then come back again the next week. I will absolutely be back over and over again.
